About this hotel

ZOMSA Culturehub is a beautifully restored, 80+-year-old traditional mud house nestled in the heart of Keylong, Himachal Pradesh, offering an authentic stay that celebrates the heritage of the Lahaul Valley. Crafted with age-old materials and traditional techniques, the house encourages guests to slow down and immerse themselves in the mountains, local culture, and the spirit of fellow travelers. With thick earthen walls, exposed wooden beams, and intricate handcrafted details, the space exudes warmth and grounding charm. The centerpiece of ZOMSA is the restoration led by Tanzin Bodh, a local entrepreneur, which not only preserves the architectural essence but also empowers local women artisans through handloom initiatives. The homestay offers a range of accommodations including the Premium Room GF with a king bed and mountain views, a Family Suite designed for comfort and privacy with soundproof walls, and a shared dormitory ideal for budget travelers.

All rooms are thoughtfully decorated to reflect the Himachali lifestyle and traditions. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a shared terrace and courtyard, a kitchenette, a garden and picnic area, free Wi-Fi, and a banquet hall for events. Traditional Himachali cuisine curated by local hosts adds an authentic culinary experience to the stay. Whether you’re unwinding after a long journey or seeking quiet inspiration, ZOMSA provides a rare window into the rhythm of mountain life. Just a short stroll from the main market and transport links, it stands out for its simplicity, soulfulness, and unmistakable sense of place, blending heritage, sustainability, and hospitality into a memorable stay
