The Stables Cottage set on a country Estate on the southern fringes of the Scottish Highlands, you get stunning views over the heather-clad hills. Various fantastic sporting, recreational and cultural opportunities await guests on the Estate and nearby, including grouse shooting, deer stalking, and salmon fishing.
The new lease of life to this former stable block, transforming it into a beautiful cottage that takes up one side of a cobbled courtyard. The thick walls, wooden doors with deep window sills, and skylights retain a sense of history along with creating a wonderfully light property. Enter through a covered porch into the main living space, focused on the cosy log burner.
Relax on the comfy sofas, perfect for a board game around the coffee table, with windows overlooking the garden. The well-equipped farmhouse-style kitchen has a circular dining table leading to a separate utility room. Head down the hall to the bedrooms with wardrobes and en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom has a super king-sized bed and a large walk-in shower; the second bedroom has twin beds and a bath. The farmhouse feel continues with both bedrooms’ which have tartan carpets and metal bed frames. Outside there is ample room for parking. There is a large, lawned garden with patio furniture and a BBQ.
